Seismic survey ship charterer TGS has promoted its chief operating officer (COO) Kristian Johansen to the CEO role.
The Oslo-listed company said incumbent Robert Hobbs is retiring after nearly seven years in the top job.
Johansen joined TGS in 2010 as chief financial officer and was appointed COO in February last year.
He was previously executive vice president and CFO of IT group EDB Business Partner, now called Evry, in Oslo.
