Danish operator A2Sea has clinched a windfarm turbine installation deal from the summer of 2018.

It will erect 60 6MW Siemens structures for the 385MW Arkona Offshore Wind Farm for E.ON and Statoil in the Baltic Sea.

The 15,800-dwt purpose-built offshore installation vessel Sea Challenger (built 2014) will be deployed.

E.ON is building and operating the wind farm and Norway's Statoil has a 50% stake.
