Norway's Sevan Marine is considering legal action against Teekay and its Logitel Offshore floating accommodation subsidiary over a 2013 takeover.
Sevan said it been reviewing the "legality" of agreements relating to Logitel Offshore, which was founded by Sevan deputy chairman Arne Smedal in 2013 and then bought by Teekay.
These include a $60m bond loan granted by Sevan to Logitel in 2013.
