Malaysia’s SapuraKencana Petroleum has secured fresh work worth $125m as it looks to replenish its depleting orderbook.
It has been awarded a contract by JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration for the charter of its semi-submersible tender assist drilling rig SKD Berani.
The contract will see the rig deployed offshore Malaysia working on three firm wells with a minimum total duration of 150 days.
