Oslo-listed owner Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has seen vessel utilisation drop to 37% in the first quarter.
This compares to 92% a year ago.
The figures do not include technical or maritime downtime, mobilisation, steaming or some standby activities.
EMGS had two vessels in operation.
The 103-loa Atlantic Guardian (built 2001) was idle until 20 February, after which it conducted a sea trial of the DeepBlue equipment.
