Ensco takes four jack-ups out of lay-up

Ensco, the US driller, has brought four jack-ups out of lay-up after securing medium to short-term contracts for the rigs.

The four contracts are among a number of charters for jack-ups announced by the US-listed company in its latest fleet status report.

Saudi Aramaco has taken the Ensco 84, which had been idle since November 2015, on a four-and-a-half-year contract at $72,000 p/d.
