Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT) of Haugesund has concluded a five to seven years charter for two suezmax shuttle tankers with Equinor.

The ships will be employed on the Roncador field in Brazil.

Trygve Seglem-led KNOT will order two 152,000-dwt ships at South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) for the contract.

The ships will be delivered in 2020 and is, according to the Norwegian daily Finansavisen, costing $110m to $120m each.
