Restructured Oslo-listed OSV owner Oceanteam has started talks over the future of its Mexican joint venture DOT Shipping in weaker markets.
The company operates two fast support vessels through DOT with its Mexican partner Diavaz.
"Due to the decline of the Mexican offshore markets, the charter income has decreased significantly over 2017," it said.
It has started "constructive dialogue" with Diavaz to find a new contractual structure, it added.
