DryShips has seen a second offshore support vessel lose a long term contract with Petrobras.
Nasdaq-listed DryShips says the Brazilian energy company has culled a charter for the 1,400-dwt Vega Inruda (built 2013) that was set to run until 30 August 2017.
The axe means DryShips will lose around $2.9m in core operating profit from the ship.
It is the second long term OSV charter DryShips has lost this year after Petrobras cut the 1,400-dwt Vega Crusader (built 2012) in February.
