Prosafe has lost a contract for one of its accommodation vessels in Mexico due to the steep decline of the oil price.
Cotemar Group has informed the Cyprus-based company that the deal for the Safe Lancia has been suspended.
The reason for the termination is the cost reduction programme launched by Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex).
Another Prosafe accommodation vessel, Safe Regency, is also very likely to see its contract ditched.
