Sonangol says it is in discussions with several major oil companies about a joint venture for two drillships it has under construction in South Korea.
The Angolan state-run oil company said it had already help preliminary discussions with Esso, Chevron, BP, Eni and Total.
The objective is to help complete the financing of the two drillships which are nearing completion at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME).
