UMW Oil & Gas (UMW-OG) has reported its second jack-up rig charter in less than a week in a further positive sign for the offshore sector.
The Malaysian offshore company said it had received a letter of award from Petrofac to use its UMW NAGA 5 rig.
The contract is to drill two firm wells with the option of an additional one well plus one well starting in the second quarter of 2017.
