Croatian cruiseship calls have declined 18.5% during the first five months of this year.

Vessels made 150 stops, down 34 year-on-year, according to figures from the National Bureau of Statistics cited by the Hina news agency.

Cruiseships carried 177,709 passengers to 31 May, 23% fewer than in 2016.

They spent 347 days in the Croatian Adriatic, 22% down year-on-year.

The port of Dubrovnik accounted for 113 visits, with Split on 53 and Korcula on 32.
