A bulk carrier owned by Greece’s Eastern Mediterranean (EastMed) has grounded in Argentina's Parana Bravo river.
The 50,961-dwt Eleni M (built 2001) has been stuck in soft mud since yesterday in a position located the Nueva Palmira port, where the Parana Bravo river flows into the Uruguayan river.
Local maritime agent NABSA said the vessel is obstructing navigation for vessels departing the port.
