French prosecutors will not proceed to a criminal trial over a 2012 collision between a Turkish tanker and a trawler that killed the fishing vessel's skipper.
Local media said Lorient prosecutors have written to the father of Christophe Rio, who died aged 40, to inform him of the decision. They said they had no jurisdiction in the case, after repeatedly referring it to Turkish authorities.
