TOTE Maritime has reached settlement deals covering 20 of the crew members on the sunken ro-ro El Faro, several lawyers said today.
That could bring the payout to crew families so far to $10m if all have accepted the US shipowner's offer of $500,000 apiece. Most have been confirmed at that level.
