Navios Maritime Partners has purchased its fifth bulker so far this year as the New York-listed bulker owner deploys a pile of growth cash.
The Athens-based shipowner, a spinoff of Angeliki Frangou-led Navios Maritime Holdings, said today that it has bought a 179,000-dwt vessel built in 2011.
It paid $31.1m for the South Korean-built ship, which will be delivered in June.
