Teekay Tankers is said to have sold its last MR products tanker to complete a strategic exit from the sub-sector.
New York-listed Teekay Tankers has secured $13.3m for the 46.900-dwt Hugli Spirit (built 2005), tanker market sources suggest.
Analyst Magnus Fyhr of Seaport Global Securities said in a report the price was 5% below his valuation of the ship.
It was not immediately possible to secure comment from Teekay on the reported sale today.
