Henning Oldendorff continues to feast on second hand bulk carriers with the purchase of his seventeenth vessel in the past year.
The German owner has added the 95,000-dwt bulker Oriental Angel (built 2013) to its fleet, a statement confirmed.
While no price was disclosed for the transaction, TradeWinds reported last month the ship had sold to a European owner for $16.5m.
Oldendorff’s purchase of the Imabari-built ship was disclosed as one of eight new additions to the Oldendorff fleet.
