South Korea’s Pan Ocean is being linked to a purchase of two Tsuneishi-built kamsarmax bulkers from the fleet of collapsed owner Hanjin Shipping.

Pan Ocean is said to have paid $21m each for the 82,000-dwt Hanjin Hadong and the Hanjin Port Kamsar (both built 2012).

UK-based online platform VesselsValue says the ships are worth $20.4m a piece.

Last month Songa Bulk bought the one-year older STX built 80,000-dwt Flama (built 2011) for just $14.8m.
