Chinese handysize owner Asia Maritime Pacific (AMP) is distancing itself from the sale of the oldest vessel in its fleet.

The 26,500-dwt Victoria Spirit (ex-African Joy, built 1996) is the last of three bank-owned ships that have been trading in the fleet of Hong Kong and Shanghai-based AMP since the collapse of its former owner, Maritime Capital Shipping.
