Fincantieri-owned Vard Holdings announced today it has received a new vessel order, declining to mention the ship's size, type, value or buyer.
No one at Vard's Norway headquarters was immediately available for comment.
The company has received a series of new orders recently, including a $616m contract with Norway for three coastguard vessels.
Vard is also building a luxury expedition 16,000-gt cruiseship for Hapag-Lloyd after building two others for the German company’s Hanseatic series.
