South Korea’s H-Line Shipping is pressing ahead with its planes to order two 180,000-dwt, LNG-powered bulk carriers at Hyundai Heavy Industries.

TradeWinds understands from closely connected sources that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed for the dual-fueled ships, with the contract expected to be firmed up by the end of August.

The two ships will be built at HHI subsidiary Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, with delivery expected in the second half of 2020.
