The newest additions to Navios Maritime Partners’ fleetof bulkers will generate profits despite lacklustre charter rates, according tochief executive Angeliki Frangou.

In the New York-listed owner's  second quarterconference call Frangou told analysts that the 77,000-dwt Navios Helios(ex-Ocean Breeze, built 2005) and 57,300-dwt Navios Soleil (built 2009), which cost$41.5m in total, will breakeven at levels of approximately $8,900 per day.
