The DP3 ultra-deepwater unit is the third in the series and will be delivered in December 2014.
It will drill in depths of up to 12,000 feet to a total depth of 40,000 feet. No price has been disclosed.
QGOG has 11 units, including eight rigs, three of which are still being built.
