The Singapore-based LPG trading company has booked two 11,000-cbm units at both Sasaki Shipbuilding and Kyokuyo Shipyard.

Petredec said deliveries of the four ships would be spread evenly through 2015. No financial terms were disclosed.

This order takes Petredec’s fleet of 11,000-cbm vessels to a total of six, adding to its existing units Keswick and Kendal (both built 2003)

Petredec says the hull form has been optimized for the vessel’s intended trading areas, allowing a significant increase in cargo carrying capacity, while still meeting the required restrictions at load and discharge ports.
