The Emanuele Lauro-led shipowner said it has agreed to buy four 180,000-dwt ships under construction at Daehan Shipbuilding Co.
It said it has also agreed to construct an additional capesize bulker at Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co.
The Sungdong ship is due to be delivered in the second quarter of 2015 with the Daehan ships coming in the third and fourth quarters of 2015 and early 2016.
