Toyo Sangyo of Japan is the latest owner to take advantage of improving values in selling off the 176,400-dwt Shin Suruga (built 2002).
Brokers say the ship may have been sold for as high as $34.5m.
Galbraith’s said in its weekly report the vessel fetched $34m after inspections were held in Qingdao at the end of last month.
