The company said in a filing on Monday that it made KRW 172.3bn ($162.5m) on a net basis to 30 September, from KRW 168.6bn in the same three months of 2013.
Revenue dropped to KRW 3.26 trillion, compared to KRW 3.57 trillion the year before.
Operating earnings were also lower at KRW 181.5bn, against KRW 205.7bn in 2013.
The shipbuilder has scooped two major orders in recent weeks.
