Fincantieri, which completed its IPO this year, said the agreement with its Adria-based compatriot will see it focus on small and medium-sized cargoships. Vittoria builds vessels of up to 100 metres.
A deal was signed by Fincantieri’s Paolo Frino, senior vice president of its naval unit, and Luigi Duo, chairman of Vittoria.
