Brokers said the CNOOC unit has signed up for a quartet of 2,500-gt, 8,000-hp vessels at Guangxin Shipbuilding & Heavy Industry.
Delivery from the Guangdong yard is set for September to December 2016. No price was revealed.
CSOL already had 12 anchor-handlers on order at various Chinese shipyards.
