The company said only that the buyer of the 22,500-gt vessel (built 1998) is an operator with "relevant experience in [the] international cruise business."
It has already paid a deposit to the administrator and will pay the balance on delivery in late May.
The price was not revealed, however.
German media reported a wealthy Texas resident has bought the vessel through a consultancy firm.
