Athenian Ship Management of Greece is the latest owner to scrap a panamax bulker.
It is understood to have fetched $3m for the 74,000-dwt Sea Fortune (built 1996) which is thought to have gone for demolition in India.
The ship was purchased from compatriot owner Thenamaris as Seawind for some $23m.
Athenian still has a similar bulker, the 69,000-dwt Sea Lord (built 1995), which could also be a scrap candidate, and two bulkers built after 2000.
