Dutch owner Van Oord has ordered a new cutter suction dredger from domestic shipyard Royal IHC.
The vessel, a modular IHC Beaver 65 DDSP, will be built at Sliedrecht for delivery on 1 April, 2016, it said.
It will be named Biesbosch and be deployed at the Zeetoegang Ijmuiden project, part of the locks programme of the Dutch department of public works.
