Korean shipbuilding giant Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has returned to profit in the first quarter as its offshore business stabilised.

Net earnings to 31 March were KRW 244.5bn ($213m), against a loss of KRW 125.2bn the year before.

Revenue dropped 16% at KRW 10.27 trillion, with operating profit at KRW 325.2bn, against a loss of KRW 192.4bn in 2015.
