Essar Shipping is said to have completed the scrap sale of a capesize bulker at the second attempt.
The shipowner has disposed of the 151,000-dwt Badri Prasad (built 1990) at a price of $275 per ldt, sources say.
TradeWinds first reported in May that the bulker had been sold for demolition with brokers explaining today the need to re-market and sell it was nothing sinister.
