Precious Shipping has continued its fleet renewal efforts with confirmation that two more bulkers have been sold for scrap.
It told the Bangkok Stock Exchange the 18,596 Apisara Naree (built 1996) has been offloaded for $1.14m.
TradeWinds reported last week that the vessel was heading for the scrap heap.
The other bulker sold by Precious is the 23,732-dwt Suchada Naree (built 1994), which fetched $1.28m.
