Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has tendered to buy a second-hand suezmax as it steps up efforts to expand its fleet.
In an advertisement in TradeWinds, the owner said the vessel must be between 140,000 and 160,000 dwt, with an age range of seven to 11 years.
Interested parties have until 12 September to get in touch.
The company indicated earlier this month that it had earmarked INR 9bn ($134m) for ship purchases this year.
