Tufton Oceanic of the UK is busy building up both its tanker and dry cargo fleets, sources say.
Brokers say Tufton has bought two chemical tankers to add to a flurry of activity in the bulk market.
Tufton is flagged as the buyer of the 19,700-dwt Princimar Americas (built 2004), which TradeWinds reported last week to have sold for $18.5m with a time charter attached.
