Russia's United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) is confident of a profit for 2017.
The state yard group's president Alexei Rakhmanov told the Interfax news agency that earnings this year should be around RUB 7bn ($122.5m).
He did not give a comparative figure for 2016.
Rakhmanov was holding a meeting to mark USC's tenth anniversary.
The company now includes about 40 shipyards, repair yards and design centres.
