South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries has bagged a provisional KRW 271bn ($242m) deal for two vessels.
Samsung told the Seoul Stock Exchange the contract remains subject to the approval of the shipowner before it becomes effective.
The yard did not reveal any details about the company behind the ships or what vessels have been contracted.
A spokesperson for the shipbuilder was unable to offer further clarity when contacted by TradeWinds on Wednesday.
