Russia's Vyborg Shipyard has returned to profit as revenue rose in the first six months of 2017.

It posted net earnings of RUB 9.57m ($160,000) to 30 June, against a loss of RUB 0.57m a year ago, Port News reported.

Revenue grew from RUB 0.73m to RUB 4.16bn over the same period.

The yard has an orderbook of five icebreakers for the Russian state, due this year and in 2018.
