Chinese state shipbuilder CSIC is carrying out a reorganisation of its shipyard assets through stake acquisitions.

The Shanghai-listed unit of the parent CSIC said on Wednesday it will buy a 43% stake in Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC) and 36% in Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry, both controlled by the CSIC group.

The deals are being funded through a share issue, subject to board and state approval.
