Samsung Heavy Industries is the latest shipyard to share in a round of mega-containership ordering, bagging a deal for six vessels.
Seoul-listed Samsung today announced a KRW 1.1bn ($968m) contract for the ships, set for delivery by the end of 2019.
It is believed the ships are the second portion of a newbuilding project from MSC, which is presently causing some confusion in the market.
