Jo Odfjell is being tipped for its first notable investment in tankers since it sold a slice of its fleet to Norwegian rival Stolt-Nielsen for $575m in July last year.

TradeWinds reported last week that Cido Shipping had offloaded the 47,000-dwt medium-range tankers Atlantic Diana and Atlantic Blue (both built 2007) to an unknown buyer in a $32m deal.

Market speculation had first pointed to Denmark's Celsius Shipping as a possible buyer, but it denied any involvement.
