Dutch shipyard Royal IHC is expanding its shiprepair and conversion operations by acquiring 50% of Rotterdam Offshore Group (ROG).
ROG has facilities for vessels up to 300 metres in length, heavy-lift crane capacity, a large yard area and a fully equipped workshop, dredger specialist IHC said.
"The company has repeatedly facilitated conversion, ship repair and (de)mobilisation projects for some of the largest and most significant players in the offshore, dredging and maritime industries," it added.
