Bahri, long a popular customer with Asian shipbuilders, plans to build its ships much closer to home.
In June, Bahri became part of a consortium comprising Saudi Aramco, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Lamprell that will build a $5.2bn shipyard. It will be the anchor project within the King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services located in Ras Al-Khair on Saudi Arabia's east coast.
