The government of Azerbaijan is planning to boost shipyard output by 47% in 2021.
Azer Press reported it is aiming for vessels worth AZN 2.37bn ($1.4bn) in four years, against the AZN 1.62bn it is on track to produce this year.
The target for 2018 is AZN 1.78bn, AZN 1.96bn in 2019 and AZN 2.15bn in 2020.
The figure for 2016 was AZN 2.42bn.
