Norwegian owner and operator Klaveness could be set for an expansion of its specialized bulker newbuildings programme (CABUs).
Managing director Lasse Kristoffersen confirms the company holds options at advantageous terms at Jiangsu Zhejiang Shipbuilding in China likely for delivery in 2019 and onwards.
He tells Finansavisen he is confident about the company’s combined carrier concept, but will not disclose the price of the options.
