Tanker owner Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has clinched a newbuilding deal that has been in the making for several months now, market sources told TradeWinds.
The New-York listed company has booked a pair of 115,000-dwt aframaxes at Daehan Shipbuilding, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The formal signing for the crude carrier tankers is believed to have taken place during this year’s Posidonia event.
